Do your children prefer school bags or backpacks?
Our children are increasingly influenced by brands, and they are asking for backpacks earlier and earlier.
To do like the grown-ups!
The problem is that most backpacks on the market are not really adapted to their morphology while they carry an increasingly heavy weight as they progress through levels.
According to the FCPE, in CM1 and CM2, a full school bag weighs an average of 8.5 kg. Your child weighs on average around 30 kg. This means they carry almost 1/3 of their weight on their back every day! Physiologists recommend not exceeding 10%, or 3 kg!
The after-effects on our children's backs are dramatic. And, paradoxically, school bags (not all of them!) are better suited than backpacks to minimize the problem of the weight of school supplies.
We put a lot of energy and know-how into designing school bags that respect your children's growth! Faced with the growing demand for backpacks among primary school children, we decided two years ago to tackle this problem by launching backpacks designed like our school bags.
Their design, manufacturing, size, and weight are calculated to adapt to your children's morphology and best distribute the weight they carry between their shoulders and lower back without hindering their breathing or movement. But not only that, our backpacks meet all of our brand's requirements:
• They are solid
• They are ergonomic, adapted to the morphology of our children
• they are light
• They are comfortable
• They are designed to please both children and parents.
• They are responsible, ethically manufactured with a significant proportion of recycled materials
• They are distributed by small, independent, local businesses.
So you no longer need to refuse your child the backpack they ask for... if it's a Caramel & cie!
