Rafaela Garcia, the founder of Caramel & cie, is a designer. She designs "dream bags" whose design and aesthetics stimulate children's imaginations.

Offering an eco-friendly school bag has always been a priority for Caramel & cie. For five years, our entire team has been striving for a single goal: to offer a 100% eco-friendly school bag at a price that remains affordable.
The weight of school bags is an issue that, unfortunately, we won't be solving anytime soon. Rafaela tackled it even before the brand was born. It's no surprise, since her children carried the school bags she made!

The solution: design ergonomic school bags that are as light as possible. By optimizing their shape so that the load is distributed ideally between the shoulders and lower back, while ensuring that the straps are comfortable and interfere as little as possible with the child's breathing, playing, running, etc.

Every year, Caramel & cie donates hundreds of school bags to associations to help families in need.

Caramel & Cie has its school bags meet all European certifications and standards (REACH standards) regarding environmental protection and child health. Strength tests are also optional, as a school bag must last at least two school years. Our school bags are also guaranteed for one year: a sturdy school bag is one that lasts, and therefore generates less waste.
