Rafaela Garcia, the founder of Caramel & cie , is a designer. She creates "dream schoolbags" whose design and aesthetics stimulate children's imaginations.

Offering an eco-friendly schoolbag has always been a priority for Caramel & cie. For the past five years, our entire team has been working towards one goal: to offer a 100% ecological schoolbag at an affordable price.
The weight of school bags is an issue that, unfortunately, we won't solve anytime soon. Rafaela tackled it even before the brand was born. Naturally, her children carried the school bags she made!

The solution: design ergonomic school bags that are as light as possible. By optimizing their shape so that the load is ideally distributed between the shoulders and lower back, while ensuring that the straps are comfortable and don't hinder the child as much as possible when breathing, playing, running…

Every year, Caramel & cie donates hundreds of school bags to associations to help families in need.

Caramel & cie ensures its school bags meet all European certifications and standards (REACH standards) regarding environmental protection and children's health. Additional strength tests are performed, though not mandatory, because a school bag should last at least two school years, and our school bags come with a one-year guarantee : a sturdy school bag is a school bag that lasts, thus generating less waste.
